Here’s a couple images from Ginger Oakes’ work this year for The Sketchbook Project. I fell in love with her sketchbook the first time she showed it to me. The story is so uplifting, and the calligraphy and illustrations are so charming! Ginger is a dear friend of mine and one of the most interresting/talented/lovely/lively life forces I’ve ever encountered. I think her personality comes out splendidly in this. I love the ink spill too!
